Cory Anne Cassidy has known from the time she was a young girl that she wanted to represent plaintiffs. She first began her work with Riposta, Lawyers as a law clerk during law school. Upon graduation, Ms. Cassidy joined the firm as an attorney and has since become a partner of the firm.

Ms. Cassidy handles personal injury and workers' compensation files from initial client meetings to conclusion, including commencement of suit and claims, discovery, motion practice, legal research and brief writing, court appearances arbitrations. Additionally, Ms. Cassidy has worked on appellate briefs and has appeared before the Appellate Division. Ms. Cassidy is inspired by and dedicated to the firm's clients. She cares about each and every one of them and works hands-on with them throughout the progression of their matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cassidy worked for Carella, Byrne, Cecchi, Olstein, Brody & Agnello, P.C. for a year as a law clerk, where she assisted the litigation and bankruptcy departments. She also worked for The Law Offices of Brenda Coppola Cuba, where she assisted Attorney Cuba with her busy family law and civil defense practice.

She was also a research assistant to Professor David Dante Troutt, involving research on urban sprawl and environmental justice issues, with a particular focus on Essex County. She participated in Rutgers' Moot Court Baker Trial Competition and Women’s Law Forum.

Outside of the office, Ms. Cassidy enjoys spending time with her husband, their children, family and  beloved dogs, Henry and Muffin. She also enjoys outdoor activities, reading about biomedical issues, theater and physical fitness.
